Swollen cervical lymph node
My son is 5 y 11 mo old. He is having swollen lymph node in cervical area for more than a year. Size is not increasing. Having dust allergy and suffers a lot from runny nose and cough. Recently an USG of neck done. Report is attached. Is it something serious? My second question is, what is the accuracy of USG in case of detecting reactive lymph nodes?

The enlarged lymphnodes may be due to some underlying infection. For confirmation, you should get an FNAC done for such long-standing lymph nodes. USG is quite sensitive and usually gives correct diagnosis.
