Swich cv 325 mg
From few days I m suffering from back pain and muscle and went through various medicines. Then one fine morning I find a protrudment behind one of my ear with small amount of pain. Had the pain not there i wouldn't have known this has happened. Then went to a doctor - he said some gland has swellen. So he prescribed me this medicine Switch cv 325 mg. And there after it has started reducing. Can anyone throw some light what can be reason of the swelling(as my doc didn't explain me any reason for this ) and uses of this Switch 325 mg. Secondly is it helpful in tonsillitis ?

It could have been an infective lymph node which got better with the antibiotics. It can be used for tonsil pain.. It will reduce the infection but not the size.. Please do not use the medicine without being prescribed by a doctor

Sounds like the lymph node behind your ear was swollen. lymph nodes can swell up whenever there is any inflammation/infection in the surrounding/draining areas.  swich 325 is an antibiotic which is used to treat a variety of infections including tonsillitis. However, please do not self medicate with antibiotics.
