Female, 27My mother was suffering from covid..Initial symptoms started from 18th April..There is no such problem as of now but now we can find swelling under her eyes without pain which is visible since 5th may. What can be the probable reason? Recently reports were done..Eleveted Serum LDH of 441, D Dimer- 501, CRP 27 was found. Kindly suggest. Please note that she use steroids 8 mg BD for 10 days then we subsequently stopped it by giving 8 mg OD for 1 day and 4 mg OD for 2 days as her sugar level was spiking. Now the sugar level is normal.Around 88 for fasting.

Facial puffiness(moon face) is due to use of steroids. Once steroids are withdrawal it will subside eventually within a week. No need to worry. If swelling persist for too long them consult.
