Swelling on the body

Asked for Female, 56 Years

My mother is 56 years old. She has diabetes and high blood pressure. From nearly 10 days she is having swelling on her face and legs .recently any artery of her nose burst as per the doctors. Due to high bp. In winters only. Please tell what could be the possible reason

If she has long standing diabetes or Hypertension, kidneys could be affected. If she also has breathless it could be a heart disease. Othe possibility is liver disease or protein deficiency

Get her X-ray chest, ecg, kidney function test and serum proteins done . Get urine examined for proteins
