I got into an accident on Sunday morning and I had a forehead cut where I needed stitches and The pressure has caused my eyes to swell how long till the swelling of the eyes go away

Swelling will disappear in one week. If there is no direct trauma to eyes. Please get your eye evaluated from an ophthalmologist to rule out the same. The swelling around the eyes is a very common finding whenever there is trauma on head or forehead. Take oral antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs to decrease the swelling

It usually takes about a week for this kind of swelling to subside. There well be colour changes getting red/ maroon/ black/ light brown to normal of associated Deep tissue bleeding is also present
