Swelling of foot
My dad has swelling in the lateral part of his foot for the past one day started mildly now has pain and swelling but be attached photo, no history of trauma / no fever / edema . The skin peel on the top is because of shoe bite . Not infected . No comorbidities. What could it be . Should anti inflammatory medicines be enough or does he need antibiotics ?

Take medicine for 2-3 days.. visit doctor if there is no improvment.. foot elevation at night..

Should be cautious if he was a diabetic .. if ur history given is as it is, anti inflammatory drug will be enough as of now
