Swelling / Cyst in Throat Thyriod Glands

Asked for Female, 52 Years

Dear Sir / Ma'am, I am looking for the treatment advise for my Mother. She is 52 yrs and from last few days observed swelling in throat and intetnal thyriod glands. We consulted some local doctor in the city and he infomed us for the possibility of Cyst and advised us to go for sonography of throat and one more test similar to Biopsy where some sample is collected from cyst. We are scared now and don't want to go for the biopsy test. Please advise for proper treatment process.

It's called FNAC..fine needle aspiration cytology.. it's an essential test for thyroid swelling to assess the nature of the disease.. further treatment protocol depends on it's report..
