Swelling and pain in anus
I have swellin and sevior pain in my Perineum and one side of anus . I can feel a firm lump in one side my anus opening. And the entire pernium is swollen an is very firm. Its very painfull.. some times i feel chills and fever coz of pain . Then i have to take paracitamol to get some relief. The pain gets back once the effect of paracetamol is over. Its been three days now.. initially the pain was not seviour but from past two days its worst. I am taking sitz on hot water it gives temperary relief.
Kindly let me know what it is and how to treat it .

Hi.... Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath. Soak your anal area in plain warm water 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day.... Apply cold. Apply ice packs or cold compresses on your anus to relieve swelling.
With these treatments, hemorrhoid symptoms often go away within a week. See your doctor if you don't get relief in a week, or sooner if you have severe pain or bleeding.
