Swelling after Stapler circumcision
One week back I got stapler circumcision done and 3days after the surgery the dressing was removed, I observed swelling on the left side of penis shaft and Its been 4days since the dressing was removed and I don't see any improvement in it. Along with the area of incision below the glans, Is swelling of penile shaft common after circumcision? I am afraid if the shaft is filled with puss or water fluid. Can you please confirm if this is an unusual swelling. I have attached photos for reference

Greetings! As with any operative Case, a postoperative follow up should be done with the corresponding surgeon who operated, since he knows better about the proceedings of the operation. Since you have a complaint of only swelling at the operative site with no other associated complaints, it should be minimal post operative reaction to staplers which will reduce on its own. No need to panic. By the Looks of it, the surgeon has done a fine circumcision and it doesn’t appear infected or inflamed. Better visit your surgeon for further Real time examination and further followups. Thank you!
