Swellihg in knee coming back
Hi, I bumped my knee in a table and since then it started paining at a certain point and then the pain grew upwards in my knee, causing swelling. So as a precaution i did cold compress and it affected positively and i had medicine for infamation and everythingg was fine bit after a week of stopping the medicine the pain suddenly started. I do not do any workouts but i do walk 20-30 mins a day . Then again i did cold compress and it was fine. But it again started paining now and its not going away as i am doing my usial routine.

It would be good to show an orthopaedician as an injury to the knee would be associated with soft tissue injury or ligament injury..since you are able to do all your activities unlikely a bony injury. But muscle and ligament injury has to be ruled out. If there is any such injury it will have to be addressed with ultrasound or mri scan as per the examination findings. Avoid doing any exercises or lifting weights or squatting or climbing stairs or walking long duration during the recovery period. Usually injury like this takes 6 weeks to heal.
