Swallowed coin
Hello yesterday my niece swallowed a coin . We took x ray nd coin is in stomach. Doctor said to wait for motion. But today coin still does not comes out in potty.

Wait for another two days . Coin should come out with stools otherwise get an x ray repeated to confirm and consult some gastroenterologist.

Make your baby have lots of bananas. Sometimes the gastric acid may completely dissolve the coin. If it does not exit stomach by today, get a repeat X-ray and if it is still there in the stomach, you could take the help of a Paediatric gastroenterologist to extract it out.

As the coin has reached stomach it will eventually pass out through stool, though it may take a few days. Nothing to worry, examine the stool daily for the coin.
