Surgery for parkinson
We have recently discovered uncle has parkinson's disease so i wanted to know can we directly go with some specific surgery so that he feels relief from dopamine tablets or should we take medication first for some time and then go with surgery also doctor hasn't yet confirmed parkinson's as he said there are lot of categories in parkinson so we are confused now please can any one clear this. also if surgery what would be the cost in india like would dbs or any other surgery

First we have to know the status of patient in parkinsonism. If patient is responding with Parkinson medications at least >30% from baseline, we can advise for surgery. So it is better to consult neurologist personally.
