Why biopsy is done before doing surgery for brain tumor? Is it a test for finding cancer?. And also clarify the consequences of brain surgery in future. The patient is 24 year old lady.

Biopsy is an histological study of your tissue to find out different types of disease like malignancy, carcinoma, tumour cells and other abnormalities of the organ.
