I got an infected abcess and I&D was done followed by ceftriaxone and sulbactam through iv . Doctor is saying no pus . But they are stuffing my wound with gauze every alternate day and asking me to come for regular dressing. Hydrogen peroxide is used during dressing. Is the procedure right ? How long will abcess hole take to close ?
