Sulcus vocalis
I was diagnosed with sulcus vocalis a month back. My voice is very hoarse and there's no voice when the throat gets very dry. The doctor has suggested voice therapy for a month but he was emphasising on a surgery. Is voice therapy a permanent solution to this problem coz this is a structural defect? Or is surgery must?

Surgery doesn't give good results most of the times. It is advised to get treated for Allergy or Acid Reflux if one of them is the cause.
