I was diagnosed with chronic sinus and was suggested for septoplasty just wanted to inquire is it necessary to get it done and also is there any other way to cure chronic sinus or any other treatment not opting for surgery.

Septoplasty is rarely a treatment for chronic rhinosinusitis. If your diagnosis of chronic sinusitis is confirmed then you need to undergo surgery known as functional endoscopic sinus surgery sometimes with septoplasty. Septoplasty alone may not be sufficient
