Sugar level high range from 400 to 500
For the last few days, as part of work , I am sleeping late night. When I checked my sugar, it was around 502 after food and very next day,it was around 400 before food. My eye is blurred out and I am not able to read anything which is near to me along 5meter. I am in medication an still sugar is not getting under control.Please let me know , whether working late night will increase my sugar level and how it is going to effect my health. Please suggest..

Hello ur sugars are very high. U need to control ur sugars better. For that u need to exercise regularly, have a proper diet and optimisation of the medicines. Yes night shifts will increase ur stress and increase ur sugars but usually that’s not only the cause. U need to have lab values if FBS PPBS and HBA1c. Going by your values of 400-500 it would b ideal to take insulin for now.
