Suffering from Diabetes from last 10 yrs
My Mother she is 65 years...suffering from diabetes from last 10 years .....in spite of dieting her sugar level is FBS--141 and PBS---279....and she is taking Glycomet--500,pioglitazone 15 mg,vaglibose 0.2 mg,eliwel,Atorvastatin,Glimulin--1mg.....Kindly help if any other tablets she can take to bring down the sugar levels.....she is on a diet

Her medicines need to be modified. Pioglitazone isn't very safe in elderly women. We need to add a gliptin and increase dose of glimeperide if needed
