Suffering from cough having congestion

Asked for Male, 72 Years

Having cough frequently, mucous comming out yellowish, feeling congestion in chest,a rattling sound comming from throat, specially during sleeping time at night.No fever,smell & test is ok.Taking cough syrup at present.Whether I have to go for antibiotics.pl suggest.
