Suffering from constipatn and dry mouth
I have recurrent Depression and musical obcession, My doctor prescribed me Clomipramine. Initially my dose was 50 mg/ day then 75 mg. Now I have increased my dosen75 to 150 mg per day and I am suffering from severe constipation and dry mouth. Can I decrease back to 75mg ,?

Hello,
Clomipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant and can cause such side effects. The dosing of any medicine depends on the symptoms you have and side effects associated with them. We can reduce the dose back to 75 mg but then you may need addition of another antidepressant to get the symptoms under control.
