My father has been doing hemodialysis since 1 year now, on Thursday he experienced sudden fluctuations in the BP ( FROM 150/80 TO 80/45 ) within minutes. After that he felt SUDDEN VISION LOSS.

I try to explain a little bit..
Main causes of Sudden visual loss in patient undergoing hemodialysis with hypotension are
1. Anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy most common
2. Posterior ION
3. Cerebral ischamia in rare cases
Treatment is a team approach
MRI should be done on emergency basis
Treatment includes
1. Maintaining intravascular volume, anticoagulant drugs, anti platelet drugs
, Preventing hypotension
2. Schedule hemodialysis in the morning from next time
