Sudden loss of vision
My vision used to be 6/6 and -4 power in both eyes. However, my right eye is suffering from sudden loss of vision since 10th Jan morning. There was no pain or redness at all, still I was diagnosed with uveitis and been prescribed with Pred Forte and H2 eye drops for next 2 weeks. Its been 5 days and I am unsatisfied with the results. I stayed awake for quite long that night as I was using my smartphone. Can eye strain be a cause or risk factor? Please help as I feel hopeless now. 😔

Hi Staying awake and using smart phone will not cause sudden loss of vision, though it may cause other issues. Not sure , what you are calling as sudden loss of vision, what is the vision? If it is uveitis, it will take time to improve. If you feel that diagnosis is not correct or not satisfied with the treatment , you take opinion from another docotr. Without seeing the report or the patient,  it will be difficult to comment.
