This is adjustment disorder with disturbance of emotions. It is quite understandable and many people feel the same way when others are conversing only in a language that is not known to us. One way of addressing this problem is learning the new language in a graded manner. One can consider it as an opportunity to learn a new language. Our brain has capacity to learn upto seven languages. If you are not interested to learn it, because of your short stay or reluctance, please ask your colleagues to talk in English so that you won't feel left out. Most of the South Indians are good at English and use it as a link language between the North and South India.
Next Steps
Reassure the patient that it is natural to feel so, not to be ashamed. Try to see it a new opportunity to learn a new language.
