Sudden double vision??!!
Respected doctor's From today morning my dad is having double vision of distance object.while closing either eyes the double vision goes away(Binocular diplomia??).He doesn't have any other history of diseases or symptoms.will it be a temporary issue.His age is 56.if it's temporary problem how long will it take to cure.When he needs to see a eye specialist?? For your kind information he don't have symptoms like headache and eye irritation/Pain Awaiting reply from experts 🙏🙏 Please reply

Hello, From the information you provided, it seems a case of binocular diplopia. In such cases his pupil reaction and eye movements in all gazes needs to be checked. If any of the above two are abnormal , please visit an ophthalmologist immediately.
