Sudden acne flared but different
Posting for friend - sudden acne flared up, no pimples in recent past for about 3 years except for one or two due to body heat. But it's been over 3 weeks now, but acne got multiplied and multiplied. No pricking but it still does not help. No sudden change in diet. Low iron in body. Pimples appear in the same spots without leaving a chance to heal. Pimples size range from tiny tiny size to peanut. Redness and itchy skin. In the process to cut down sugar, oils, spicy food. Regular walks and exercises. Not sure of the root cause. Do let us know if there is any root cause. Friend mentioned she never had these many pimples even during her teens. Not able to see the face in mirror. Can't even take selfies. Spotless face has turned to disaster. Appreciate your patience and help in advance. Currently residing in U.S. would be helpful if you can suggest medicines or creams that are available here. Also hair loss since 6 months. No hair fall in last 4 years. We think it's due to low Fe.

Acne can be treated easily with facewash, tablets and creams. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Please don't do any self treatment such as over the counter Steroid creams. Don't burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars. The marks left behind after the pimples heal can also be treated. Please call me or send your photos through online consult option for detailed prescription and diet advice.,,
