My mother had gone thru gastro stunt placement 1 yr back. dr.placed a stunt.in her c.b.d.due to xcess stone in gall bladder.

The stent usually needs replacement in 3-6 months. If you leave it too long, it can get blocked and lead to severe infections. She needs it removed or replaced asap
