Stress fracture
Went to an orthopedist, he detected a stress fracture n advised bedrest, medicines like ultratab and bonultra.... Family doctor says he cant see the fracture and i should stop ultratab n start walking. Please tell me who to trust

trust your instincts :), yes bone healing usually takes 4-6 weeks in case of complete fracture. in your case stress fracture . you may start bearing 100% weight on or after 4th OCtober Since your Xray was done on 20th october so. if you eat a good diet. and you dont have any Metabolic diseases (which you do not have) it will approximately take 2 weeks. and you would be as good as before. Also as i can see its the tarsals. you may also buddy tape the fractured toe with normal toe and take easy baby steps so that weight bearing is not 100% but less means (no bending of toe should be there when you walk atleast till 4th october)
