Strep throat
Why do I get strep throat every time there is a slight season change. When I travel to my hometown I always end up having strep throat with fever. I am having this problem and a sinus pain when I get cold since 3 years after having my daughter and it's becoming more frequent now. But it's not that severe. I get headaches and sinus pain only when I have cold. Right now I have little runny nose only when I feel too cold. And my throat is red and have swelling. I am doing betadine gargles twice a day. Do I need antibiotics. What to do to prevent it happening again and again.

Based on your history it seems like seasonal allergic rhinosinusitis. It can complicate into pharyngitis and lower respiratory tract infection. Take Tab. Sinarest LP twice daily. Tab. Macpod (200mg) twice daily. Continue mouthwash. Wash your nose frequently. Whenever you visit your hometown make sure you wash your nose too frequently and take steam inhalation at bed time during the stay.
