Hi,
My dad is prescribed by Erythropoetin alpha Injection 5000 IU by his nephrologist weekly once. This week we could not find this injection in our city and had to order from different city through our family friend via courier. Upon reaching this injection to our address we noticed that this injection was not an iced pack as it is required to be transported in cold storage(2-8 degree). It took 3-4 of these injections to reach my place. Please let me know if it's ok to take this injection.
Thanks...

Good evening
I understand your concern
Erythropoietin should ideally be stored at 2 to 8 degree Celsius in the refrigerator.
When it is taken out of the refrigerator, it can be kept at room temperature (25 degree Celsius) and still be used within 72 hours (3 days)
If not stored at 25 degree Celsius or duration out of refrigerator is more than 3 days, please don't use the medicine
It would have lost its efficacy
