The problem is Inflammation of stomach and esophagus. Aim of reducing the acids is to let the inflammation heal. Often the most important part of this Treatment is diet and lifestyle changes during the Treatment. Once the inflammation heals there is no need of antacids further. Often people take ANTACIDS by self dosing without regular DISCUSSION with the doctor/ expert and so incomplete TREATMENT continues and healing doesn't occur So a proper treatment, diet and lifestyle can heal it.
Health Tips
stress is another cause which aggrevates Gastritis. if aggrevating factor is not dealt with often Treatment becomes difficult.
