Stool test
Before, 5 days I observed some blood in stools , doc advised to do stool routine test in which occult blood was positive and rbc seen
Doctor prescribed rifagut 400 bd for five days , now today report came normal, pls suggest further

A short history of blood in stool can be symptoms of infectious cause- an enteritis/dysentery. In that case RBC in stool is a common findings. If the blood in stool continues or recurs should be evaluated by colonoscopy and Fecal Calprotectin to rule out non infectious causes like IBD. Most probably that was an episode of enteritis/Colitis of infectious cause.
