Hi,my kid got stitches in forehead .Today doctor saw a minute pus and started antibiotic augmentin duo for 5 days.My kid is 4 year old.Is the treatment right .He said the scab has formed .

Augmentin/Sporidex is the preferred antibiotic for skin and soft tissue infection.If the child is not having fever and active,it is a sign of improvement.

If there is pus, starting antibiotic is a good choice
