Stitches came out
I had an accident in where I had to get stitches in my lower leg about 6 days ago. About 4 days ago, my stitches came out and now the wound is open. I used special medical tape given to me by a nurse so the wound does not open anymore but now the wound is infected and I'm being told there is nothing anyone can do. What should I do?

Wound is raw and infected Your doctor must have started a course of antibiotics If not take simple antibiotics like ampicillin 250 mg twice a day after food plus Metrogyl 200 mg twice a day for 5 days Eat a high protein simple diet It helps to heal better
Next Steps
I don't know what is depth of wound keep it clean with detol expose to air for few minutes cover with betadine solution dress up the wound with betadine ointments next day same routine. don't pull the last layer of bandage as new skin formed will be pulled along too.
