Hello Doctor,
My wife had fallen down during her 6th month pregnancy and started developing Vertigo problem. She was advised to use Stemtil MD to counter the problem it was very effective.
She often faces the vertigo problem whenever she feels weakness in her body.
Now she is delivered a baby and is 6 months old and is taking breastfeeding.
But now, in the last 5 days, she has developed a dry cough and from yesterday she has a severe vertigo problem.
Can she take the Stemtil MD tablet now, as a lactating woman.
Please advise.
Thanks.

Stemetil is usually not recommended during lactation. Meclizine is a safer drug.
That said, its better to get evaluated by a neurologist for vertigo, as it may have many causes and she will need specific management.
