What she has is perfectly normal process of healing Swelling can last after pain also goes away, for upto 6months in some cases. Slowly the swelling will also disappear Sprains actually take pretty long to heal completely and I recommend protecting your ankle from any other injury meanwhile. So you can use ankle brace or crepe bandage to protect the ankle during these few months. Also take vitamin D and B12 injection Help in the healing process.
Next Steps
get Vitamin d and b12 levels checked
