Spottn instead of period, -ve pregtest

Asked for Female, 33 Years

My last period started on 4th Dec 2017. For a 27 to 28 day cycle, my next periods were due on 31 Dec. I usually have heavy flow but on 3rd Jan 2018 at approx 10p.m I noticed some faint brown discharge on tissue. On 4th Jan 8.00pm saw a small spot on my panty. And today morning 5th Jan light spotting. I've been cramping from the 3rd too. Done a preg test at the doctors and its negative. Am worried. What does this mean? Am 33 years old.

hello there! First of all relax. It maybe due to hormonal imbalance. So please get TSH, S. Prolactin and USG lower abdomen done to know the cause of irregular periods.
