Spotting | Missed Period | Ipill

Asked for Male, 30 Years

Hi, my wife had her last period between 23-30th december. Prior to that she took an Ipill on 16th december. Between 11-13th january she experienced light spotting. She was expecting her period today, but it hasn't happened. In between she took 2 pregnancy tests on 10th & 17th january which came negative. Wanted to understand if the spotting & missed period could be due to the earlier Ipill? What are possibilities of bleeding only 10 days after a period due to pregnancy?
