Spotting in pregnancy
I am 31 year old female. LMP - 16 Jan 2017. I had positive UPT on 15 Feb 2017 , same day hcg was 270. I had mild spotting. I was given hcg injection and susten 200 tablets for 15 days and etex t tablets for 5 days. On 24 Feb I went for ulta sound (tvs) but nothing was seen in it. On same day hcg value was 2300. Doc told me she will repeat ultrasound after 5few days. From 25 Feb I started to have mild bleeding again. Daily I am given injections (I don't know name of injections)to stop bleeding. I am worried . I earlier had a miscarriage dur to chromosome abnormality. Now why nothing is seen in ultrasound? I have read when hcg is above 1500 we should be able to detect fetus in ultrasound.

Ya. Definately. If hcg level more than 1000 , the pregnancy can be seen. So repeat one ultrasound.
