Splinter Hemorrhages under finger nails.
I have been getting splinter hemorrhages underneath my fingernails again. I had endocarditis back when I was 16 years old. I am currently 23. I did have to go through the course of antibiotics with a pic line and when I turned 18 I followed through with Heart surgery mitral valve repair. Since then I've noticed that I keep getting these splinter hemorrhages under my nails like I have gotten before. It is one of the major symptoms of endocarditis. What should I do?

The diagnosis of endocarditis is based on multiple clinical features. Just splinter haemorrhage does not make a diagnosis. If you are having fever or breathlessness please get an echo done
