Hello Your father needs detailed history and physical examination before we can suggest you any treatment. One sided neck pain has many reasons: muscle spasm, spinal joints involvement in neck, nerve compression etc. which can be diagnosed only after examining the patient. You are suggested to book an appointment with a pain specialist/ pain physician for best outcomes
