  4. Spikes of bp above 200. Or hormone. ?

Spikes of bp above 200
She is having these spikes of 200+ on every 2-3 days, despite taking medication for high bp..checked with one cardiac..he advised ecg and echo and report says everything is normal. How to go forward in treatment- should we go GP for thorough check up and then after getting a hint go to specialist in heart, kidney or hormone...?
