SORE THROAT & FEELING OF LUMP IN THROAT

It has been more than a month now, since i am suffering from throat problem and it is not going, it feels like lump at the back of my throat, feels soreness, something is lodged at back of my throat, i have tried everything gargle to bottles of cough syrup, tablets but nothing is working.
Back one month when i have noticed the very first symptoms when i drank a cold soft drink and smoked one cigrate which i very rarely do.
i am very afraid is it indication any big health problem.

Consult an ENT specialist and get an endoscopy done.
You shouldn't be waiting for that.
Rule out the bad possibilities and be at peace.
