Sonogram during prrgnanc.
Iam 8 weeks pregnant my lmp was 31 oct 2016. On 27 dec i was taken a ultasound but there is no g sac on the screen it is possible that fetus is not visible in sonogram?

Hello,
Gestational sac is not seen in three conditions:
1. Absence of Pregnancy
2. delayed pregnancy in irregular cycles
3. Chances of Ectopic pregnancy.
You should better consult a gynaecologist and get a beta hCG test done to confirm pregnancy or an ultrasound scan.

Yeah is not seen in delayed periods and ectopic pregnancy in normal intrauterine pregnancy with regular periods it is not possible that till 7 weeks gsac not visible

Hi, if your cycles are regular, well grown fetal pole with good sac should be seen in uterine cavity. It is not seen in three conditions-- 1, no pregnancy, 2 delayed pregnancy in irregular cycles, 3, Ectopic pregnancy. If confused, can go for Beta HCG in blood laboratory test.
