Son has flared ribs
My son has flaring of ribs at the bottom of left ribcage....  It was not there till he was 2 1/2years... I am so concerned about that ..  Our ped suggested calcium syrup and said nothing to worry... Plz help .. Should I go to some specialist.??

Hi, flared ribs or rickety rosary if that is what you mean can be due to rickets which is caused by vitamin D defeciency. Please consult a paediatrician or orthopedic surgeon
