Sodium level in blood
Sir/Madam, Kindly let me know on the following. I am taking medicines for High blood pressure for the past 14 years and also reduced my intake of salt as per the advise of the Doctor. During the recent blood test taken, the Sodium level in my blood is reported as 135 mmol/l whereas the therapeutic level is shown as between 136-145 mmol/l. Please let me know how to maintain the sodium level in Blood, without consuming excess salt in food. May I also know the earlier symptoms of low sodium level in blood. Thanking you, Yours faithfully, R. Balasubramanian.
