Hi, Pandemic has certainly impacted people well-being at large. Mental health has also been impacted because of isolation and increased screen time. It should be a good idea to consult a Clinical Psychologist for the same. Best wishes, Positive Minds Clinic

Hi, is this question for your daughter? During the pandemic most people became comfortable in working/ studying from home and now prefer that over other options of physically meeting or spending time in social situations. This seems to be more situational than longitudinal. You may want to try the below for her: 1. Deep breathing exercises (guided meditation videos available on Youtube) 2. Journaling inner feelings or using painting/ drawing to express herself 3. Talk to her as a friend to explore what she may be actually going through 4. Introduce her to other people slowly (example- invite one friend or classmate home/ later meet in groups of 2 or 3) 5. Talk to teachers regarding extra classes or using different teaching methods to make subject matter more interesting 6. Ask her if she wants to try a new activity or hobby 7. Spend time with her doing things she likes or looks forward to 8. Do not pressurise her 9. If she is open to talking to a professional, she can have sessions with her school counselor or any other child/ adolescent psychologist. If you are looking for counseling, feel free to contact me. I currently work with Indian adults between the age of 20-60, over online video calls. For daily mental health insights and tips, follow @TherapyWithShaurya on Instagram. Take good care, hope this helps.

Adolescence is a tender and confusing stage of life with loads of physical changes happening in the body as well. It is a stage when peer group is the most important part of life and covid situation, frequent lockdowns and online classes have disrupted this natural cycle of life. A little guidance and support provided by the therapist can help find positivity back.
Next Steps
Try a session with a psychologist. That may help.
