Small hyperechoic foci
Hi I recently this month had blood work and a transvaginal ultrasound done to confirm that I have PCOS. I looked at the notes of my most recent transvaginal ultrasound and compared it to the one I have a few months ago. Something showed up in this newer one under the uterus/cervix note it said "small hyperechoic foci in the lower uterine segment are likely dystrophic calcification" what does that mean and how serious is it?
