Slight discomfort on the lower left abs
I recently started to workout again and the other day my abs were sore from working out my back and that seemed normal. But today I felt this slight discomfort/pain on only my left side and it happens when I twist my body or switch positions as I’m laying down.

Your pain seems to be a result of delayed onset muscle soreness that appear after vigorous work out or starting any activity after a long time like playing, gyming, swimming etc
Next Steps
It will subside on its own within 2 to 3 days.. meanwhile you can do hot water fomentation on the abdominal muscles
