It's difficult for me to sleep. Even if I sleep for 10 hours (unlikely) I wake up at least 4-5 times in between. Often I wake up with a start, worrying about totally illogical things like someone knocking on the door (nobody does) or someone calling me or my alarm went off and I kept sleeping. I've been waking up before my alarm goes off almost on a daily basis. I wake up tired all the time. Will it be okay if I start sleeping pills? I've heard that it becomes ineffective after sometime and as a side effect we also lose our natural tendency to sleep.
