Skipping period on tricyclic bc?

I am on Tri-Sprintec.I just finished the second week of pills.It is now February 25th...on March 9th-15, I am going to Cancun with my boyfriend for a week (period time.)Should I stop taking pills now to induce a period early (does that work?), and just start a new pack on March 2nd, so that I’ll have a week of pills before having sex?OR should I finish active pills and start a new pack instead of placebo? If I do this, should I start at the beginning of pack, or the 3rd week high-progesterone?
